OUR SERVICES

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy at Back Nine focuses on more than just relieving pain. We identify the underlying movement limitations contributing to injury and develop a plan to restore strength, mobility, and function.

Common conditions we treat include:

• Back and neck pain
• Shoulder pain and rotator cuff injuries
• Knee pain
• Hip pain
• Sports injuries
• Overuse injuries
• Movement limitations affecting performance

Each session includes a combination of manual therapy, corrective exercise, strength training, and movement retraining to help you return to activity safely and confidently.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a specialized treatment used to reduce muscle tightness, decrease pain, and restore normal movement patterns.

It works by targeting trigger points within muscles that may be contributing to pain or restricted movement.

Dry needling can be helpful for:

• Muscle tightness and trigger points
• Chronic pain conditions
• Tendon pain
• Sports injuries
• Mobility restrictions

Dry needling is often combined with exercise and movement retraining for the best results.

Golf Performance & Mobility Training

Golf places unique demands on the body. Limited mobility, poor stability, and strength deficits can reduce swing efficiency and increase injury risk.

At Back Nine Physical Therapy, golfers undergo a movement assessment designed to identify physical limitations that may affect their swing.

Training programs focus on:

• Improving rotational mobility
• Increasing power and clubhead speed
• Enhancing stability and balance
• Reducing injury risk
• Improving overall athletic movement

Whether you're trying to play pain-free or add distance to your drive, improving how your body moves can have a major impact on performance.

TMJ & Jaw Pain Treatment

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders can cause jaw pain, headaches, neck tension, and difficulty chewing or opening the mouth.

At Back Nine Physical Therapy, TMJ treatment focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors contributing to jaw dysfunction, including muscle tightness, joint mobility restrictions, posture, and neck mechanics.

Treatment may include:

• Jaw mobility and motor control exercises
• Soft tissue and manual therapy techniques
• Postural correction and neck treatment
• Education on habits that contribute to jaw pain

TMJ dysfunction often improves significantly with targeted treatment that restores normal movement and reduces muscle tension.

The Back Nine Membership — $150/month

Think of it as having your own physical therapist on retainer.

For $150 a month, you get 10 one-on-one sessions to use however you need them — whether that's knocking out an injury, building your off-season fitness, or finally fixing that swing limitation you've been working around for years. Most members use all 10 in the first couple of months to get out of pain and moving well.

After that, you're not on your own. Members get every additional session at half price — so when your back flares up before a tournament, or your shoulder starts talking to you mid-season, you can get in fast without thinking twice about the cost.

No insurance. No waiting rooms. No starting over with someone who doesn't know you.

Just consistent, high-quality care from a provider who knows your body and your goals.

12-month agreement required. Sessions do not roll over beyond the agreement period.

Why Cash-Based Care?

Traditional insurance-based PT often limits the number of visits, dictates the type of treatment you receive, and splits your time between multiple patients. At Back Nine, your care is never decided by an insurance company.

You get the full hour, every time — with a provider who knows your history, your goals, and what it actually takes to get you there.

What Patients Are Saying

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Tom has helped me with a couple of different neck and shoulder issues. He was very thorough in his approach, listened to all my symptoms, and gave me several treatment options. I got a lot of relief from what he did and the home exercises he prescribed also helped. I really appreciate that he uses multiple treatment methods depending on the situation. Highly recommend!"
